Granite State Fair
Thursday, September 17, 2026 -- Sunday, September 27, 2026, 1600 - 2200
The Granite State Fair returns to Rochester, New Hampshire, September 17-20 and September 24-27, with two weekends packed with entertainment, animals, agriculture, rides, food and classic fair traditions for the whole family.
There's so much more to experience beyond the midway. Catch the excitement of the Big Top Circus, cheer on the action at the School Bus Demolition Derby, and watch skilled competitors take on the Lumberjack Show. Guests can also enjoy horse and oxen pulling, racing pigs, live entertainment, grandstand events and family-friendly shows throughout the fair.
Animal lovers will find plenty to explore, too. Visit the barns to see cows, pigs, chickens and rabbits, stop by the Rabbit Barn, watch sheep shearing demonstrations, experience cow cuddling, and learn more about the animals and agricultural traditions that have always been an important part of the fair.
Of course, no trip to the Granite State Fair is complete without midway rides and games, classic fair food, vintage arcade games and all the sights, sounds and traditions that make a day at the fair special.
Whether you come for the animals, the shows, the competitions, the rides or simply a fun day out with family and friends, there's plenty to see and do from the time the gates open until the end of the night.
