Deeply influenced by the melodic sensibilities of contemporary artists such as Pat Metheny, The RH Factor and Butcher Brown, Sungrass's original compositions also dip into gospel, soul and fusion elements. With a scrumptious sound that oscillates between the serene and the spirited, this fresh and fabulous four-piece jazz outfit is definitely one to keep tabs on.

Grass Roots is a monthly live music affair which began life at The Vortex Jazz Club in March 2019 before briefly relocating to Notting Hill Arts Club in August 2021, now a resident monthly event at The CLF Art lounge
