Grizzly 399: An Intimate Evening with Sculptor Jocelyn Russell & Unlimited Wine Tasting
Friday, July 10, 2026, 1500 - 1700
Join Jackson Hole Winery for an intimate Artist Meet and Greet and Wine Tasting with renowned wildlife sculptor Jocelyn Russell, lead artist of the new Grizzly 399 Monument.
Guests will enjoy unlimited wine tastings while hearing the inspiring story behind the creation of the Grizzly 399 Monument, a lasting tribute to one of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem's most beloved bears and her famous quad cubs. Russell will share behind-the-scenes stories from the sculpting process, offering a rare look into the artistry, challenges, and dedication involved in bringing this monumental work to life.
The evening will also feature a fully detailed resin maquette of the monument, along with Grizzly 399's original clay face and paws sculpted at nearly twice life size.
Attendance is limited to 30 guests to provide an intimate experience with the artist.
A tax-deductible donation of $100 per person is requested to reserve your spot. Proceeds will support the completion and installation of the Grizzly 399 Monument, which is being gifted to the National Museum of Wildlife Art. As a special thank-you, each guest will have the opportunity to include a personal 5×7 photo, note, or message in the monument's permanent archival box.
Please note, we are offering two wine tasting events at the Jackson Hole Winery on July 10th.
