Growing into Ourselves in San Francisco on 18 January 2026
Sunday, January 18, 2026, 1500 - 1630
The RILEY Project is proud to present an in-person storytelling gathering at Manny's in San Francisco, featuring neurodivergent youth and adults sharing five-minute stories and original poems about identity, strength, challenge, and belonging.

Storytelling is one of the oldest forms of connection we have. For neurodivergent people, it becomes even more powerful: a way to reclaim the narrative, express identity, and practice self-advocacy. Too often, ND stories are told about people rather than by them. This event flips that dynamic by creating a warm, supportive environment where lived experience leads.

You will hear moments of perseverance, humor, insight, fear, pride, and discovery - stories shaped by ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other learning and thinking differences. These are honest reflections on what it means to grow into oneself in environments that are not always built for our brains.
