Pacifica, CA – Celebrating five years of local creativity, Handmade Pacifica is returning to Sanchez Art Center, north San Mateo County’s coastside art gathering venue, on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 1:00 – 5:00 pm. This highly anticipated annual outdoor event brings together local artisans and makers who will be onsite to sell and share about their artistic craftsmanship.

The fair features a thoughtfully curated lineup of more than two dozen local vendors, deftly coordinated by event founder Kristina Ayala and local artist Daniele Derenzi. Set against the picturesque backdrop at Sanchez Art Center, attendees will be greeted by a bustling scene of tents and tables, each offering a treasure trove of handmade wonders.

Shoppers will delight in the variety of wares, from the brilliance of sea glass jewelry to the craftsmanship of handmade ceramics, leather goods to hand woven textiles, fanciful sea prints and photographic images of our beautiful natural surroundings, and sustainable wood gifts to deliciously rich bath and beauty products. And, for tasty treats, savor the flavors of delectable chutney, jam, chocolate and more available to take with.

Artisans/Makers are: Coastside Creations, Cocotutti Chocolate, Cuppa Fog, dnd Studios, Emery.Co.Studio, Food for Faces, Grey Whale Pottery, Habitat Art Studio, Kaoru Sanchez, Left Coast Sea Glass, Lovey’s Tea Shoppe, MAE Leather Goods, Mama J Glass, McQuade’s Celtic Chutney, Naptime Designs, Pacifica Historical Society, Poppy and Honey Bee, Prints by B, Pufferfish Press, Rennie Goods, Ro Mattsmith Art, SEMA J’$ Cookies, Shen Aroma Farms, Skeletal Dropkick, and Small Batch Jam Co. Plus, local favorites Pacific Java can keep you alert with an energizing beverage and the Moonraker food truck will offer hearty sea fare to enjoy onsite, replenish from shopping and keep enjoying the art!

In addition to the giftable artisanal offerings, all three of the galleries of Sanchez Art Center will be open showing: Reality/Fantasy, Zander Bice, curated by Alida Bray; Soft Power, a group show by Sanchez Studio Artists; and Elements of Life, a group themed show by members of the Art Guild of Pacifica. AND, several Sanchez Art Center studio artists will also open their creative spaces to welcome the public, providing opportunity to engage with them and gain deeper insight into their practice.

Handmade Pacifica and Sanchez Art Center look forward to having you attend as the community comes together to uncover the hidden gems of Pacifica supporting local artisans/makers. Event organizers highly recommend walking, biking or carpooling to ensure an enjoyable time and minimize parking challenges (limited onsite parking with street parking also available).
