Celebrate fall with Harvest in the Heritage District from Sept. 26 to Nov. 2. The seasonal celebration will cast an autumn glow across downtown Gilbert, with all-new experiences aimed at igniting fall fever!

WHAT: A seasonal celebration in downtown Gilbert, highlighting the transition into the fall season. Highlights include The Great Gilbert Gourd Hunt, a family-friendly scavenger hunt featuring the artistry of Villafane Studios, a fall-inspired artist installation featuring origami folding art celebrating global harvest festivals, a live pumpkin carving workshop with Ray Villafane, an origami workshop, weekly concerts, merchant specials, and autumn-inspired décor throughout downtown Gilbert.

HIGHLIGHTS:
The Great Gilbert Gourd Hunt featuring the artistry of Villafane Studios
Head to the Heritage District and check out the exceptional artistry of Ray Villafane and Villafane Studios as part of The Great Gilbert Gourd Hunt. Visitors to the district are invited to sign up on their mobile device and get led by GPS to pumpkin vignettes throughout downtown. The Great Gilbert Gourd Hunt is a multi-generational activity for all ages! Printed scavenger hunt postcards are also available for pick up at Gilbert Town Hall, Discovery Centers, HD South, and select merchants. Autumn Glow in the District
Encounter endless photo opportunities as the Heritage District comes alive in fall décor and lighting. Celebrate the seasonal shift and tag #DiscoverGilbert for a chance to be featured. The iconic Water Tower lights will be coordinated to the colors of the season. Fall foliage and décor will be displayed along the signature lamp posts lining Gilbert Road between Elliot Road and Vaughn Avenue.

Concerts in the Park
Hosted by Gilbert Parks and Recreation, Concerts in the Park returns to Water Tower Plaza this October. Join the fun on Thursday evenings in October with musical performances scheduled from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Complete details and times can be found online. No performance scheduled Oct. 30.

Fall Festivals in Folding Arts - Installation
This colorful art installation will celebrate the cultural heritage of Autumn using origami representations featuring symbolic and diverse objects associated with harvest celebrations from around the globe. Suspended chandeliers will be on display in the pocket park located at Heritage Marketplace, west of Barrio Queen (388 N Gilbert Rd). A free, hands-on Origami Community Workshop will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 10 AM, details online.
