Thursday, June 25, 2026 -- Sunday, July 12, 2026, 1000 - 1700
The show, which has just been extended through July 12, 2026, comprises works from the museum's collection that demonstrate ways in which American experience is explored in art.
What is American art in 2026? How does national identity manifest in an artist's work? And how does one's work reflect the American experience?
Organized in collaboration with a coordinating committee representing the Asian Community and Cultural Center, the Center for Great Plains Studies, Civic Nebraska, ECHO Collective, Lincoln Commission on Human Rights, Lincoln Indian Center, Southeast Community College, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries, and Youth 250.
