Great Meadow is proud to present the inaugural Four Nations Cup, an international grass polo tournament uniting sport, diplomacy, and luxury lifestyle on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Great Meadow in The Plains, Virginia.
This first-of-its-kind event in the Washington, D.C. region will showcase national teams from the United States, Argentina, United Kingdom, and Pakistan, bringing together a prestigious audience of international diplomats, business and community leaders, and equestrian enthusiasts for a spectacular day of world-class competition.
The Four Nations Cup celebrates global camaraderie and excellence in sport. Guests will enjoy thrilling polo finals, immersive cultural pavilions, gourmet hospitality in the Ambassadors Tent, and refined fieldside tailgating-all set against the iconic backdrop of Great Meadow’s rolling green hills.
“The Four Nations Cup isn’t just a polo match, it’s a cultural and diplomatic moment,” notes Dr. Enrique Segura, Chairman of ENSE Group and event co-chair. “We’re delighted to bring together countries with deep ties to the sport for a weekend that blends heritage, global connection, and distinguished hospitality.”
This landmark event supports the mission of the Great Meadow Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving open space for community use and advancing equestrian sport. Proceeds from the event help sustain public programming and the 374-acre venue beloved by generations of Virginians.
