This evening promises an unforgettable blend of connection, inspiration, and creativity, set in the natural beauty of Heart Lake Farm. Learn more about the incredible work they do here.
Silent Art Auction: Bid on over 20 one-of-a-kind, nature-inspired art pieces — including originals created during our "Artists en plein air" event in March at W̱MÍYEŦEN Nature Sanctuary, Highlands BC. Local artists spent three days immersed in the sanctuary's rich ecosystem, translating their experience into breathtaking artworks available exclusively to our guests. You’ll also find a variety of donated prints and originals from both emerging and celebrated artists, including Lori Goldberg, Jordan Fritz, and Roy Henry Vickers.
Live Music begins at 8:00 PM
Delicious Food, Mocktails, and more! Truffles Catering will be serving a variety of exquisite grazing boards for your culinary delight. Please note, this will be a dry event.
The Location: Heart Lake Farm is located on Vancouver Island in the traditional homelands of the W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations, Heart Lake Farm provides space for accessible and inclusive health and learning services in a farm based setting. The farm is home to some very special animals and their horses, goats and chickens have been chosen for their skills as partners.
*Please note the event will be held in a horse arena with soft sand ground which could be tricky to navigate for those using wheelchairs or walkers. If you have any accessibility needs or concerns please let us know by contacting david@humannaturecounselling.ca
Why It Matters
All proceeds from ticket sales and the art auction will support Human-Nature Counselling Society. Your generosity will help us continue offering accessible, nature-based therapeutic services to individuals and families — regardless of financial or societal barriers. This event also aims to raise awareness for the ongoing preservation of the coastal Douglas Fir ecosystem protected by W̱MÍYEŦEN Nature Sanctuary.
