June 14th- Cimarron Breeze Concerts presents The Tulsa Playboys in concert and dance

What an evening of music we have in store for you! Shelby Eicher and his Tulsa Playboys are bringing their Western swing hall of fame music to the historic Old Church that sits amongst the other 1890's era buildings on the north side of Perkins, OK~ know as the Queen of the Cimarron (River). Come early and tour around Oklahoma Territorial Plaza... taking a step back in time to just after the 1889 land run. Pistol Pete- our Oklahoma State University mascot- raised his family in the two story White House that sits on this beautiful average. There's a train depot from our CImarron river valley area and a luxury Canadian train car from the 1890's, an area school house, and much more... the jewel of the Plaza is The Old Church that is where the evenings concert and dance will be held ... don't forget: bring a favorite dish or dessert - a bucket of KFC or bbq from your favorite restaurant will do just fine- for our potluck dinner held at 6pm before every concert right there in the kitchen of The Old Church! Monica is a renowned songwriter, member of the Western swing band The Cherokee Maidens, and touring artist who grew up in the Perkins area. Her nickname is The Cimarron Songbird... come to show on Father's Day weekend - Saturday, June 14th and you will get to hear her warble a couple of tunes with The TULSA PLAYBOYS!
