Kaylee Jade Dahlia Day May 9th 10:00am - 2:00 pm Franz Witte Garden Center, Nampa
Saturday, May 9, 2026, 1000 - 1400
Kaylee Goncalves was one of four University of Idaho students whose lives were tragically shortened in the 2022 murders in Moscow, ID. Rather than allow tragedy define the story, the Goncalves family has chosen to focus on remembrance, community and positive impact.
Kaylee Jade Dahlia Day is part of that effort. Dahlias are known for their extraordinary diversity of color and form so a new dahlia variety has been developed in Kaylee Goncalves honor.
Event attendees will witness the dahlia presentation to the Goncalves family. A silent auction, guest speakers, demonstrations, children's activities and food trucks are part of the fun too. The Kaylee Jade Quilt will be on display. The event is free to everyone. The Kaylee Jade Dahlia is not available for purchase at the event.
