Lisa's Legacy Food and Film Fundraiser for Grief Awareness

Lisa's Legacy of Hope, a Fort Wayne-based nonprofit dedicated to grief support, will host its annual fundraising event on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Cinema Center in downtown Fort Wayne.
This year's event will feature a culinary-themed experience is designed to appeal to foodies and film buffs, highlighting local chefs who will prepare a gourmet tasting menu on-site. The menu will include a varied selection of dishes including epicurean Cuban sandwiches and a lavender cream cake with gold chocolate ganache, accompanied by a scrumptious spread of heavy hors d'oeuvre to satisfy appetites.
The evening will conclude with a screening of the film "Chef" in the Cinema Center's main theater.
Tickets are $40 per person and directly support the organization's mission by covering the cost of one Lisa's Legacy Grief Bag and its contents. These age-appropriate grief bags are provided free of charge to individuals experiencing loss, including adults, teens, pre-teens, young children, and toddlers.
