Live Jazz concert featuring Jazz Drummer Nasar Abadey on Sunday, 20 October at Meade Church

Jazz at Meade is proud to welcome back to the stage Nasar Abadey, the educator, composer, and band leader who happens to be a talented jazz drummer from Washington, DC. Nasar Abadey is not a background drummer. He is up front and expressive, aggressively pounding out a wide variety of propulsive rhythms who has always delivered a crowd pleasing performance. Jazz at Meade is one of the area's most interesting and intimate live jazz venues and is regarded as one of the "best kept secrets" of the Alexandria music scene. Jazz enthusiasts from around the DMV gather at Meade Church every month to enjoy afternoons of wonderful music, great conversation and refreshments.
