On Wednesday, April 1, Robin Melavalin will present "Reality Through the Lens: Photos of My Trek on Mount Kilimanjaro," and Laura Edson Puopolo will present "When the 'Truth' Is Shown to be Lies, We Hold These Truths to be Self-Evident: Photos from Local Protests."
The public is invited, free of charge, and light refreshments will be served.

The Wednesday talk is the last in a series of four called "Reality through the Lens of Art." Works by the eight speakers in the four-part series are on display in the lobby of the UU Meeting House. Sculpted tree branches, works made of found materials, oil paintings and photographs are included in the collection on view before and after Wednesday's talk.

This year's talks follow last year's series, "Exploring the Nature of Reality," which began with a discussion of animals and their senses and included talks about religion, individuals' microbiomes and our sense of our identity, and more.
