This fall, join more than 200 vendors at this popular local market, featuring dozens of tents and local food trucks where you can meet, greet, and support your talented Tucson maker community. In 2017, the Historic 4th Ave. Coalition (HFAC) assembled a small but mighty group of 50 artists for the first edition of what has become one of the most popular, local maker events in the state. The Made in Tucson Market has upped its vibe with each version of its bi-annual presence, now attracting people region-wide for this one-day, all volunteer-run market.

This fall be sure to enjoy a tasty, imaginative treat with all the Tucson flavor you crave from more than 10 food trucks, and stay refreshed with the market’s signature fresh-squeezed limeade.

Bring your hat, your refillable water bottle, pets on leashes, and look forward to a great family-friendly day meeting a wide-ranging list of wonderful makers, happy to help you with all your selections. The Coalition is a volunteer group of neighborhood folks, business owners, artists and activists dedicated to the preservation and protection of equity, diversity and accessibility of the 4th Avenue District. We came together in 2017 to encourage smart development on the Avenue and have since grown into stewards of healthy localism. The Coalition is built by and for our community. We work to bring public art and voices to the Avenue District, promote sustainable practices, and provide support for neighbors and businesses to thrive. Tucson has a remarkably resilient community and when we come together we can help to realize the future of our great city.

Made in Tucson Market has been proud to be recognized as an early incubator of local creators, many of whom have opened their own brick and mortars after successful markets. But did you know that it is also the only local market that directly reinvests in its community?

By funding and maintaining the Coalition Space at 311 E. 7th St.- and making it available on a sliding scale- the Made in Tucson Market has been able to activate this mid-size space to use for micro-markets, classes, and meetups of all kinds.

A direct outgrowth of the Made in Tucson Market, the Coalition Space is dedicated to cultivating resilience-in our arts community and our city at large. With a focus on inclusivity, the non-profit space serves as an affordable, accessible venue helping to uplift all members of our community while working to foster a safe, vibrant, and unique society- not just for us, for ALL of us.
