Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0 - Interactive Public Art Swing Installation - Stamford Downtown Aug 1-Sept 7

Stamford Downtown is excited to host Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0, an immersive and interactive public art installation inspired by the vibrant street markets and sense of community found throughout Latin America. The installation will be on display in Columbus Park in Stamford Downtown from August 1 through September 7, inviting visitors of all ages to gather, swing, relax, and reconnect through playful design.

Created by acclaimed Mexican designers Esrawe + Cadena, and produced by Creos, Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0 transforms public space into an engaging environment where art, design, and human connection intersect. The visually striking installation features illuminated red house-shaped frames, each containing a swing that encourages visitors to pause, interact, and experience the space in a new way.

When unoccupied, the structures emit a soft glow welcoming the next visitor. As soon as someone steps inside, the light intensifies - signaling that someone is home and creating a shared moment of connection in the public realm.

Previously exhibited at Lincoln Center in New York City, Houston, Las Vegas, and Iowa City, the installation has engaged communities across North America through its welcoming and playful approach to public art.
