Miss Magnolia Beaumont Goes to Provincetown
Wednesday, July 1, 2026, 1930 - 2100
When Southern debutante Miss Magnolia Beatrice Devareux Beaumont chokes on a pork rib, she awakens in the body of a middle-aged, gay New Yorker-"Master Joseph"-en route to Provincetown for a birthday getaway. What begins as shock and spirited disagreement turns into an unexpected journey of shared consciousness, clashing perspectives, and surprising tenderness.
More than a monologue, Miss Magnolia Beaumont Goes to Provincetown is a witty, heartfelt solo play exploring identity, purpose, and the magic of Provincetown. Hailed as "rich, wise, and deeply human" (Backstage) and "a fierce and funny fable" (Next Magazine), this charming comic fantasy celebrates the beauty of unlikely connection.
