NEW FOREST FAIRY FESTIVAL
Saturday, August 8, 2026 -- Sunday, August 9, 2026, 1000 - 1800
The New Forest Fairy Festival is an immersive, multi-day celebration of folklore, fantasy, and nature, set within the beautiful surroundings of the New Forest and is held on the 8-9th August. Designed to captivate both children and adults, the festival transforms open spaces into a living storybook filled with magical experiences, interactive entertainment, and creative expression.
At the heart of the festival is a richly themed environment where visitors can wander through fairy markets, enchanted themed venue areas, and mystical realms. Each area is carefully curated to evoke wonder, featuring costumed performers, handcrafted sets, and hidden surprises that encourage exploration. Live entertainment runs throughout the event, including storytelling sessions, theatrical performances, live music, dance, and character encounters that bring myths and legends to life.
A wide range of hands-on activities ensures there is something for everyone. Children can take part in treasure hunts, craft workshops, wand-making, and fairy school experiences, while adults can enjoy holistic therapies, spiritual talks, and demonstrations focused on wellbeing, sustainability, and folklore traditions. The festival also hosts a vibrant market, showcasing unique handmade goods, costumes, and gifts from independent creators.
Food and drink offerings highlight local and ethical producers, with a variety of options to suit different tastes and dietary needs. Visitors are encouraged to dress up, fully embracing the magical atmosphere and becoming part of the experience themselves.
More than just an event, the New Forest Fairy Festival is a celebration of imagination, community, and the natural world-offering a memorable escape into a world where magic feels real and creativity knows no bounds.
