National Children's Day 2025
Saturday, June 7, 2025, 1200 - 2030
On Saturday, June 7, 2025, families, neighbors, nonprofits, and local businesses will gather at Valley Mission Park in Spokane Valley, WA for a vibrant celebration of National Children’s Day 2025. Running from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, this event is more than just a festival, it’s a heartfelt message to children that they are seen, valued, and loved. With a Roblox-inspired theme, the day will feature live-action versions of popular games like Brookhaven, Rainbow Friends, Adopt Me, and obstacle courses presented by Ninja Nation. Classic childhood favorites such as hide and seek and fort building will be reimagined into exciting new formats like Ultimate Hide and Seek and Fort Wars (Boxes vs. Sheets).
The event is deeply rooted in community and compassion, inspired by the voices of children themselves and organized with the help of local dads from the Spokane Fatherhood Initiative. This event highlights Gabriel’s Challenge, a movement that promotes joy, connection, and purpose as powerful tools for preventing substance misuse. The goal is to create a future where children grow up in environments filled with love and meaning, reducing the need for harmful coping mechanisms.
Admission is $10 per person, with free entry for kids aged 1–4 and no charge for additional adults beyond the first two. All proceeds will benefit local nonprofits dedicated to supporting families and protecting youth, including Family Promise of North Idaho, Canopy Village, SPOFI, Embrace Washington, Chrysalis, Kiwanis, and Partners with Families and Children.
Community members are encouraged to get involved by volunteering, sponsoring, or simply showing up to celebrate. Volunteers will help run game zones and booths, while sponsors will be recognized for their contributions. As the organizers put it, “This isn’t about Roblox. It’s about rebuilding the blocks of community, family, and love.” National Children’s Day 2025 is a joyful, high-energy call to action, an invitation to come together, uplift every child, and build a future grounded in hope and connection.
