"How Medical Training and Care Has Changed Over the Past 90 Years"

A Talk with Dr. Newton Gresser, Age 104

Wednesday, March 13 at 7 PM via Zoom

The public is invited to watch and listen on Zoom as Dr. Newton Gresser, a retired medical doctor and the oldest male resident of Falmouth at 104, is interviewed by his friends Lew Stern and Steve Treistman, at 7 PM Wednesday, March 13. The conversation is part of UU Falmouth's series of programs open to the public free of charge. To get the Zoom link, people may email the UU Falmouth office administrator at admin@uuffm.org any time before noon the day of the talk. The evening will include questions from the audience.

According to Lew Stern, Dr. Gresser is "charming, bright, fun to be around, and truly a Renaissance Man." He will talk about attending medical school before penicillin was in use, and how medical training and care has changed over the past 90 years. "Newt has an incredible repertoire of jokes and always remembers the punchline," Steve Treistman said.
