Oak Bay Recreation Centre is turning 50! Join us on Friday, October 24, 2025 for a full day of fun as we celebrate five decades of recreation, connection and community.

11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - Open House: cake cutting, coffee and tea, time capsule opening, archives display, photo slideshow, Wall of Fame presentation (Sportsview Lounge)
12:00 to 2:00 p.m. - Family Fun Zone: Bouncy Castle and game stations (Indoor Sports Field)
12:00 to 2:30 p.m. - Discounted Court Time (1975 pricing) (Tennis Bubble)
1:00 to 3:00 p.m. - 70s Pro-D Day Everyone Welcome Swim (Pool)
