Ari's work is deeply rooted in folk tradition, both through their Hungarian-American heritage and lineage in North Carolina pottery apprenticeship. As a child of immigrants living in America, Ari values the importance of generational knowledge in a hyper-modern world. Carry it with you invites viewers to examine craft as an active conversation that marries past places, cultures, and people with the artist's perspective here and now. It is on view through June 24.
