Penrith Bead Fair - Sunday 23rd August 2026. Free Entry and Refreshments!
Sunday, August 23, 2026, 1100 - 1600
The latest semi precious beads by MrBead, seed beads and findings by Southampton Bead Shop, the local seed beading groups, and more to make great jewellery.
Enjoy yourself with other beaders and jewellery-makers at this great fair - exchange ideas and learn to bead. Call in the morning or stay the weekend, than combine with a lake cruise on an Ullswater steamer, which is just 7-miles south. It's great around the Lake District in August!
The new-built venue has air-con and wifi, but limited free parking. However, not a problem on a Sunday. For locals, bus X5 runs every hour on Sunday from Penrith to Workington - get off at the Methodist Church in Stainton, then just 1-minute walk to the hall.
The hall is under 5-minutes from M6 Junction 40, and 9-minutes from the centre of Penrith - and 10-minutes from Ullswater.
Many semi precious beads for making great jewellery.
