By purchasing and/or attending the 2025 Petaluma Fair ("Fair") event, you ("Attendee") agree to the following:

1. Acknowledgment of Risks: Attendee acknowledges that participation in this event involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to, the risk of personal injury, property damage, exposure to infectious diseases, and other potential hazards.
2. Assumption of Risk: Attendee voluntarily assumes all risks associated with attending the event, including those arising from the negligence of the event organizers, the City of Petaluma (which includes the City itself, its elected officials, officers, employees, agents, and consultants), and other participants.
3. Release of Liability and Indemnification: Attendee hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue the event organizers, the City of Petaluma, sponsors, volunteers, facility owners, and any other related parties (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, and causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of or related to the Attendee's participation in the event, including but not limited to injury, loss, damage, or death, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise. Furthermore, Attendee agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all such claims, demands, liabilities, and causes of action, including attorney's fees and other costs, arising out of or related to their participation in the event.
4. COVID-19: Attendee acknowledges the potential risk of exposure to COVID-19 or other communicable diseases at the event and agrees to abide by any safety guidelines or protocols implemented by the event organizers.
5. Agreement to Rules and Regulations: Attendee agrees to comply with all rules and regulations of the Fair and the Fairgrounds facility.
6. Voluntary and Informed Participation: Attendee understands that this waiver is voluntarily entered into and that they have read, understood, and agreed to all of its terms.
7. Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
8. Severability: If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
