Quakertown 2nd Saturday Shenanigans
Saturday, July 12, 2025, 1600 - 1930
The Quakertown 2nd Saturday Shenanigans initiative is centered around the diverse businesses in Quakertown, both brick and mortar and home based. These events highlight the talents of local musicians, artists and artisans and provides an opportunity for the abundance of community-based organizations in our area to spread the word about the services and support they offer. The Shenanigans take place on the 2nd Saturday of the month, May-September and November in Downtown Quakertown from 4-7:30pm along Broad St. It is free to attend! In the center of town in the Triangle there is live music, food trucks, craft beer, free kids face painting, chalk art and temporary tattoos, local farms, home based businesses and bakers and you can register for the Savage #Hashtag Scavenger Hunt!
The July theme is the 'Summer of Style' and the highlight is a charitable hair cutting event hosted at To Dye For Salon. The 2nd Saturday Shenanigans and To Dye For Salon have joined forces with Quakertown Community Outreach, The Rest Connection and The Kindness Project and other area stylists to provide free cuts for those in need. (Please note: free cut appointments are reserved for clients of the previously mentioned charities and they are not accepting walk ins).
In the triangle this month - Radicals Rage Room, The Bread Anatomy, Scents and Color, McCooles Red Lion Inn, Waldens Music and Gifts, Complete Wellness, Elizabeth's Garden, Salfid Rescue, Night Owl Confections, Tony Luke's Food Truck, Smokin' Earl's food truck, cornhole, a wandering magician and several live music groups. Don't forget to stroll down to the Pickers Junction in the Antique District and check out what is happening at the Trolley Barn and Proper Brewing. You can always find great deals at Doghouse Gaming or go old school at the Parlour Tabletop and Tome with their great coffee and wide selection of board games available to play.
