The Race Against Racism started in 1998 as a footrace and community walk. It routes participants by Fairbanks landmarks that honor people of color and those from disenfranchised minorities who brought our community forward. Register now online at RaceAgainstRacismAlaska.wordpress.com or in person the day of the race at the J.P. Jones Center starting at 10:00 AM. Your fees cover the race expenses and proceeds go to the NAACP scholarship fund and educational programs.
