Rejoicing Spirits Worship Services

We gather on the 2nd Wednesday of each month with the beautifully but developmentally challenged for a worship service geared just for them. This happens at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 1100 East Benjamin. We encourage gratitude, we pray and hear a Bible story; we sing LOUDLY. Each participant is given a rhythm instrument when they enter and encouraged to use it whenever they feel inspired. These are NO SHUSH services so the noisier the better. After the service, we share a meal in the fellowship hall, sometimes a carried in sack lunch, sometimes provided by the church.
