Riverfront 5K presented by Stanley Black and Decker

Happy hour running along the river in Hartford! Kick off the summer weekend early with a twist on the popular Thursday evening race tradition. The Riverfront 5K course runs along paved trails within the Riverfront Recapture park system, looping back along the river.

After the 3.1 mile race, cool off with a cold craft brew and summertime treat in a post-race party at Mortensen Riverfront Plaza. Pick up summertime swag and relax as the sun sets on a summer evening.

New in 2024: Take on the River! Run the Riverfront 5K, in addition to the Burlington to Collinsville Classic 10K on May 5; and either distance at the Old Wethersfield 5K and 10K on August 18 to earn the special River Run Challenge medal.
