WHAT: Ruff Start Rescue Summer of Love MOA Adoption Event

Ruff Start Rescue is proud to host a summer adoption event at Mall of America. Guests will be able to meet a sampling of adoptable dogs, cats, and critters and learn about the many animals available from Ruff Start Rescue. The unique setup allows potential adopters to move from booth to booth, meeting each pet along the way.

Not sure about adoption, but still want to help? Ruff Start Rescue staff will be on hand with details on how to volunteer, foster, or donate, and merchandise for sale. The Twin Cities-based rescue has saved more than 30,000 animals since its inception in 2010. Since Ruff Start Rescue is experiencing an influx of animals from spring’s “puppy and kitten season” guests are also encouraged to help donate (new or gently used pet supplies and food) to the drive at MOA. About Ruff Start Rescue

Founded in 2010, Ruff Start Rescue is a foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit companion animal rescue that primarily serves communities throughout the state of Minnesota, as well as states in the south with severe pet overpopulation. The nonprofit rescues stray, neglected, abandoned, and surrendered dogs and cats as well as ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, and other critters. Most of Ruff Start Rescue’s work is accomplished by a complex network of volunteers, fosters, and supporters, all of whom come together to save thousands of animals each year, more than 30,000 since its inception!
