'A'a follows filmmaker Chris Miyashiro and his two crewmates on a breathtaking journey across the open ocean. Through stunning visuals, animations, and heartfelt storytelling, this film explores our connection to one another and to the waters that sustain us all.

Each quarter, Sustainable Coastlines Hawai'i will host and organize an Island Earth Talk Story. What is an Island Earth Talk Story, you ask?
These are quarterly talks, workshops, workdays, and other non-conventional learning sessions open to the public. These sessions aim to build community and curiosity through life-long learning, highlight exciting and important topics and solutions in sustainability, and provide opportunities to become more rooted in the community and place of Hawai'i.
