This Halloween Eve, Thursday, October 30th, the Sonoma Community Center will show SCREAM (1996) in Andrews Hall. General admission is $20, and the film is rated R. This marks the second annual screening of the film, which featured the Center as the setting for Woodsboro High School. A new partnership with Spring Hill Estate has made it possible to offer a limited number of fan experience upgrades.

Set in the fictional town of Woodsboro, SCREAM follows the terrifying murder spree of a masked killer known as Ghostface. To authentically capture the look and feel of Woodsboro, Dimension Films chose several Sonoma County locations for filming, including the Sonoma Community Center, a former grammar school, and the Spring Hill Estate Mansion, a secluded 1990s-built residence that served as the home of Stu Macher (played by Matthew Lillard).

Through its partnership with Spring Hill Estate, the Center is offering a limited number of fans access to exclusive, expanded experiences. There are two levels: "An Afternoon at Stu's" and "Overnight at Stu's." Both include limited-edition and exclusive swag, a pre-show reception in "Woodsboro's" classroom, and a ticket to the film with reserved seating and complimentary concessions.

An "Afternoon at Stu's" experience includes a private driver from Bay Area Tours who will provide round-trip transportation from the Sonoma Community Center to Tomales Bay for a daytime private tour of what is known in the film as "261 Turner Lane." The tour guide will share the history of the property and behind-the-scenes stories.

Limited to just five individual guests (or one private group of up to ten), the "Overnight at Stu's" experience is being offered. Bay Area Tours will whisk these fans away right after the screening at the Center to an overnight stay at Spring Hill Estate. This was the location used for the final forty-two minutes of the film and took twenty-one nights of filming. Visitors will be treated to an eerie night tour of the house, have full access to take pictures or recreate their favorite scenes, and wake up Halloween morning with a ride back to the Center, stopping for a "Killer Breakfast" at the historic and possibly haunted Washoe House Restaurant in Petaluma.

For those who choose to spend part of their stay actually sleeping, the film's iconic attic has been remodeled as a guest room with five queen-size beds. A private group that books the "Overnight at Stu's" experience before individual registration opens will unlock two additional bedrooms, expanding accommodations for up to ten guests. Early registration is the only way to secure this exclusive perk.

Spring Hill Estate is on private property, and the house is not visible from the street. This is the first time Sonoma Community Center and Spring Hill Estate Mansion have partnered. Only the future knows if it will become an annual event, so take advantage of this one-of-a-kind movie fan experience while it lasts.

SCREAM (1996) will show in Andrews Hall at the Sonoma Community Center on Thursday, October 30th at 6:30 p.m., doors at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are available in advance for $20 and are expected to sell out. The "Afternoon at Stu's" Experience is $350 and is limited to just eighteen guests. Tour groups of six will leave the Center at 1:00 p.m., 1:45 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. The "Overnight at Stu's" Experience is $1,000 per person, limited to just five attendees, or one group of up to 10 for $7,500. Proceeds will benefit the Center. Visit SonomaCommunityCenter.org or call 707-938-4626 for tickets and more information.
