SHOP OUT FOR SEIZURES

Milo and Me, Stamford's only nonprofit dedicated solely to epilepsy awareness and support, invites the community to its second annual benefit, Shop Out For Seizures, on Saturday, September 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Designs by Lee, 129 Interlaken Road (rain date: September 14).

This year's event is co-sponsored by Stamford Education 4 Autism to recognize the 30% of children affected by both autism and epilepsy. Together, we are building a stronger community of awareness and compassion to celebrate the strength of families navigating both conditions.

The outdoor market and resource fair will showcase artisan vendors and local small businesses, live music, raffles, and opportunities to connect with organizations offering education, services, and support. Attendees will hear personal stories from people living with epilepsy, and shop unique goods from merchants who support the cause.

Proceeds from the event will directly support Milo and Me’s year-round programs, including support groups for young women with epilepsy along the East and Central Coasts, care package distribution for patients in need, and ongoing community education designed to reduce stigma and increase understanding.
