SOUTHERN GOSPEL SINGING

Free Gospel Music Concert.
On Saturday evening, September 20th at five o'clock, doors will open at Preaching Christ Church at 707 East Sullivan Street in Kingsport for an exciting and much anticipated Southern Gospel Music free admission event that will begin at six o'clock with doors opening at five o'clock.
Joe Herron, promoter, will open the event and introduce Church Pastor Chad Roberts who will lead in opening prayer. Then, Jim Salyers will kickoff the music with a few old gospel songs followed by Phillips and Banks and then The Griffins. Phillips and Banks began their singing ministry in Kingsport a few years ago and now travel and minister extensively nationwide. The Griffins are new to this area coming in from Spartanburg, SC, but are very well established with a large following and strong history in the Southern Gospel Music industry.
After intermission, the second half of the event will open with The Griffins followed by Phillips and Banks and then a closing singalong with everyone "I'm Going Home with Jesus". This is going to be a great time in The Lord!!
