San Jose Metropolitan Band Presents Around the World, a Holiday Concert

Join the San Jose Metropolitan Band in welcoming the holiday season at the Hammer Theater on December 3rd at 3pm. Our Around the World concert will feature a narrated version of The Night Before Christmas. Our holiday music from around the world will include Russian Christmas Music (Alfred Reed), Rhapsody for Hanukkah (Stephen Bulla), Chasing Sunlight (Cait Nishimura), In the Bleak Midwinter (Gustav Holst), The Sussex Mummers' Christmas Carol (Percy Grainger) and Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company (John Philip Sousa).

Come early and explore downtown San Jose, which is home to the San Jose Museum of Art, the dynamic South of First Area (SOFA), and San Pedro Square. After the concert, plan to finish the day with dinner at one of the many excellent downtown restaurants.

Advanced ticket reservations are strongly recommended to expedite entry into the concert. Ticket prices are $20 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and $5 for children.
