Scamming Expert and Comedian, Sean Shank, to Headline Zanies Old Town July 1st!

Chicago, IL – July 1st – Scamming expert and “Fake Davin” TV series co-creator, Sean Shank, will be making his headlining debut at Zanies Comedy Club – Old Town, July 1st at 7pm. Sean, a comedian, published author, college professor, and show creator is kicking off his summer tour in Chicago. The tour will take him to Maryland, The Hamptons, Alaska, Canada, and all over North America culminating in a comedy special being taped in November to kick-off the national campaign supporting the release of Fake Davin. While on the road, Sean will entertain while educating audiences about the scamming world. Each event will have a post-show Q and A where Sean will answer any questions about the show and scamming the audience may have for him.
SEAN SHANK
Sean has been performing nationally and internationally for 30 yrs as a stand-up comedian and storyteller. Sean has a BA in English and a Master’s in Writing from Johns Hopkins University and is currently working on his PhD. He has completed six novels and an anthology of short stories. When he’s not performing, he spends his days managing a comedy club, blacksmithing, writing, and teaching English and Creative Writing at two colleges. Sean has opened for comedians such as Ron White, Jeff Dunham, Tom Arnold, Bobcat Goldthwait, Dave Attell, Christopher Titus, Doug Stanhope, Carlos Mencia, and many others. He's been seen on CBS, Showtime, Def Jam, and WGN.
FAKE DAVIN
In conjunction with Boat House Pictures and Talk Media Network, Radio Host and Comedian Davin Rosenblatt has created the TV series “Fake Davin.” This multi-season TV show follows the real-life story of Davin as he launches a book tour about his life fighting scammers around the world. Davin is consulted by OPSEC (the Pentagon), has been featured on American Greed, broke the Match.com scam, and has saved victims through his work on his nationally syndicated radio program “Davin’s Den” (currently) over $4.2 billion dollars. Together he and Sean have created this series, fought scammers, and have created a live reality-TV show to coincide with the release of “FAKE DAVIN” that will help scamming victims in real-time.
