Serena Bennett Memorial Pet Adoption Event - Nampa
Sunday, September 27, 2026, 1200 - 1500
Join us at a very special pet adoption event on Sunday, 9/27 honoring our very much loved and missed volunteer, Serena Bennett.
In May of 2025 we lost an important member of the Lake Lowell Animal Rescue team who had been with us for many years. Serena Bennett started out volunteering with her family, and through the years became an integral part of our organization. She was willing and able to help out in any department, was first on board for rescue missions, and did all of those things wearing the big smile we all knew her for.
It has been a tough year getting used to the new normal here without her. While she is still with us in spirit on every rescue we undertake, and with every animal that goes to its new home, we wanted to do something specifically for her going forward each year. On September 27, we will be holding our First Annual Serena Bennett Memorial Adoption Event, hosted by her alma mater, Northwest Nazarene University here in Nampa.
Join us from 12:00 noon-3pm to meet adoptable cats, dogs, and rabbits, shop some local vendors and grab a bite to eat We will be set up at the Brandt Center on the NNU campus at 707 Fern St. in Nampa.
If you have questions regarding our adoption process and what the fees include, please visit our website at: https://www.lakelowellanimalrescue.org/adoption-process-fees
