Something in the Air: Connecticut Air Quality in Shoreline communities

We will be discussing discuss the predominant health-threatening types of air pollution that tend to overlap during the Connecticut Summer: Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Sulfide Oxides (including SO2), Ozone, Smog, and the many variations of Particulate Matter. We will discuss the eventual strategies for reducing these pollutants (requiring government intervention) and steps residents can take in the shorter term to protect their health.
