Sounds of Freedom Benefiting Project SOAR
ACCESS of Wilmington is bringing the Sounds of Freedom to North Carolina!
Proceeds from the Sounds of Freedom Benefit Concert will support ACCESS of Wilmington's Project SOAR, which provides adaptive sports and recreation programs for Veterans with disabilities and First Responders.
At ACCESS of Wilmington, we believe in the transformative power of connection, recreation, and community. Project SOAR (Sports, Outreach, Adapted Recreation) creates an inclusive environment where Veterans, many living with service-connected disabilities or illnesses, and all First Responders can improve their health, well-being, and sense of connection.
For Veterans transitioning from military to civilian life, Project SOAR offers more than outdoor activities - it provides hope, camaraderie, and a renewed sense of purpose. We currently serve over 75 Veterans directly and reach hundreds more through partnerships with multiple Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs).
Release, Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability, and Hold Harmless Agreement: In exchange for ACCESS of Wilmington allowing Ticket Holder to participate in the Sounds Freedom Concert (and VIP event at Warehouse on Water where ticketed), Ticket Holder releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue ACCESS of Wilmington, its members, contractors, and volunteers for any liability, claim and/or cause of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death that may be sustained by Ticket Holder that occurs as a result of Ticket Holders participation in the Sounds of Freedom concert (and VIP events where ticketed). Ticket Holder further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless ACCESS of Wilmington, its members, contractors, and volunteers whether any purported claim is the result of Ticket Holder's negligence, ACCESS of Wilmington negligence, or the negligence of any third party. This waiver is binding to the heirs, assigns or members of Ticket Holder's family, if deceased.
