Give a senior a hot meal on a cold day.
Thousands of seniors in our community live at or below the poverty line. Help provide a hot meal on a cold day and remind seniors in need they have not been forgotten.
Local Office on Aging (LOA0 will hold its annual canned food drive January 28-February 4, 2026. Along with our host site St. Peter and St. Paul Anglican Church, partner AARP Virginia, Flagship Sponsor P1 Technologies, Gold Sponsor Trinkle and Associates, Inc., Silver Sponsor the Salem Host Lions Club and Media Sponsor WFJX Fox Radio, plus hundreds of volunteers, LOA Soup for Seniors will provide important nutrition to seniors most in need in our community during the harshest part of winter.
Collect food during the month of January, then deliver it to one of our community drop-off sites shown below between January 28 and February 4, 2026 or to the main collection site at St. Peter and St. Paul Anglican Church from February 2 - 4, 2026.
