Stand up Comedy in broken English • Victor Patrascan in Porto
Thursday, February 26, 2026, 2000 - 2200
This show is packed with new material you haven't heard before, so don't miss it! Victor returns with his trademark style of comedy - bold insights, unscripted moments, and cheeky observations that make you think long after you laugh. He doesn't provoke just to shock; with curiosity and care, he dives into politics, culture, religion, identity, and the topics we argue about online but laugh about in real life.
Yes, Victor talks to the audience, but only to the brave who volunteer, so sit wherever you like (even the front row) because he won't bother you unless you want him to.
Whether you're local, an expat, or just existentially lost, this show is a space to laugh at the absurdity of modern life - together. Come solo or bring a friend; either way, you'll leave with something to think about.

Victor Patrascan is a Romanian stand-up comedian and social commentator - and quite possibly the only comedian in the world who's permanently on tour. Without a home base, Victor has spent the past 5 years performing his self-produced shows across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Victor began his comedy journey in London in 2012, where he honed his sharp, self-aware style - and went on to top the Roast Battle London rankings 2 years in a row. In 2020, he left the UK scene behind and took his comedy international - performing in a new city almost every night, building a dedicated international audience one show at a time.
In 2024 alone, Victor performed 298 self-produced shows in 114 cities across 2 continents, for over 35,000 people. Recently, he began sharing clips of his audience interactions online which have gained him international recognition.
Victor might be on the longest, most extensive self-produced comedy tour in history. He's also the first comedian to bring English-language stand-up to places like Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Liechtenstein or remote fishing villages in Iceland.
Over the years, Victor has told his jokes in: JP DE IT LB UZ NL GR AT SG TR JO SE FR RS CH GE FI BE AZ IS UA AL MT ES EE CY IE RO MY KR LI KG BA PT XK GI KZ CZ HK NO SK TH GB SI AM HR PL LV MK LT LU AE DK MD VN HU and even BG
What makes these shows even more special? Victor is 100% independent - no agents, no sponsors, no industry involvement - he produces, promotes, and performs every single show himself. Thanks to the audiences who keep showing up at his shows, he doesn't have to compromise on what he jokes about.
Victor's stand-up is grounded in his lived experience as a comedy vagabond - exploring the quirks, contradictions and cliches of every place he visits. With a rebellious attitude, he transforms human tensions into some of the most original stand-up you'll see today.
He pokes fun at cultural differences and national absurdities, but always with empathy. His comedy reminds us that while we might look, speak or pray differently - we're all ridiculous in the same beautifully human way.
