Steam Up at Sturgeon's Mill - June 14 - 15

Sturgeon's Mill, a 110 year old Historic Steam Sawmill will open it's gates for our annual Father's Day Weekend Public Demonstration on June 14 and 15th.. Watch the historic working museum come to life as redwood logs are milled into lumber and slabs. Docent tours will lead visitors through California Sawmill History as you venture the grounds of the sawmill and woodland gardens. During designated times throughout the day, the sawmill will take breaks to allow visitors to enter the sawmill decks, see up close and ask questions. Open 10:00 - 3:00 each day with lunch available to purchase or bring your own and enjoy our beautiful picnic grounds and listen to a local Ukulele band.
