Steel Spines and Sparkling Wines: A History of Women Leading the Charge
Champagne Historian Rebecca Rosenberg to Kick Off Breathless Wines' Luncheon Series
HEALDSBURG, CA - History isn't just told this March; it's poured. Join Breathless Wines for the 2026 launch of our "Women Leading the Charge" Sunday Luncheon Series, a month-long tribute to the resilience and innovation of female icons.

The series opens on Sunday, March 1st, with celebrated Sonoma County author and champagne historian Rebecca Rosenberg. A pillar of the local literary community for thirty years, Rosenberg will premiere the high-stakes finale to her Champagne Widows series: License to Thrill: Lily Bollinger.

The Premiere: Resistance and Resilience
Step back into 1940, where widowed Lily Bollinger outfoxed the Nazi "Wein Führer" while harboring Resistance fighters in her cellars. Rosenberg reveals how Lily's "License to Thrill" spirit led her from the battlefields of WWII to an audacious 1970s partnership with James Bond. Alongside Lily, we toast the legacies of Veuve Clicquot and Madame Pommery, the revolutionaries who redefined the wine world.

The Luncheon Experience
A Multi-Course Luncheon: Gourmet pairings designed to honor the icons of the afternoon.

Guided Flight: Sip through three Breathless Sparklings curated to reflect the audacity, courage, and resilience of the world's most famous "Champagne Widows."

Book Signing: Meet Rebecca Rosenberg following the presentation to have your novels signed.
