Summer Movie Night at Mashpee Commons: THE LEGO MOVIE on August 7

Summer Movie Nights are back! Every Thursday from June 26th - August 21st, join us for movie nights on the Village Green (across from the Mashpee Library) beginning at dusk.

THE LEGO MOVIE will be screened on Thursday August 7th beginning at 8PM. Bring your own beach chairs and blankets (no pets please). Movie nights are free, family-friendly and open to the public! Don't forget to check out the Naukabout Beer Garden Party and grab a beverage and play lawn games.

The first-ever full-length theatrical LEGO movie follows Emmet an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person (the MasterBuilder) and the key to saving his LEGO world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers -- including an old mystic (voiced by Morgan Freeman) and LEGO Batman (voiced by Will Arnett) -- on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant from gluing the universe together -- a journey for which Emmett is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
