The 'Silent Messenger' was made by a small cast and crew but uses Hollywood filmmaking techniques to suggest a film with a far bigger scope and budget.
The masterclass will cover everything any filmmaker needs to know to take an idea for a short/feature film all the way through production to release and festival screenings.
You’ll learn how to work with resources you already have access to, develop an idea into a compelling script, direct both non and professional actors to give great performances, create drama and suspense, shoot a Hollywood level film even on a small budget, learn secret editing techniques used in Hollywood films, and how to find an audience who will love your film.
Come and see the film, have lunch with other filmmakers, chat with the people behind the feature, get insights into how to work in the independent film sector and how to make your film today.
12noon -2 pm: Screening of the Sci-Fi thriller, The Silent Messenger + Q and A
2-2.30pm: Free lunch at Grosvenor Cafe, where you can chat to other film enthusiasts

The film was award-nominated at BIFF (Braunschweig International Film festival) film festival in Germany.
Come along and start your filmmaking journey today.
*You will receive a free filmmaking graphic novel at the end of the session.
