WHAT: 3rd Annual Tails and Trails Walk Benefitting Ruff Start Rescue
Calling all animal lovers! Don't miss the opportunity to walk for Ruff Start Rescue and bring your well-behaved dogs along for the fun! On Sunday, May 18th, at the Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park, Ruff Start Rescue will host Tails and Trails, a fundraiser benefiting Ruff Start Rescue. The best part is your dogs are welcome to join you on the course, which is just over a mile!
This event promises to be a tail-waggin' good time including the walk, live music, vendors, giveaways, and more! Plus, with water stations and dog-friendly activities, you and your pup can refuel and recharge together throughout the day. So, grab your leash, lace up your sneakers, and get ready to make a difference for Ruff Start Rescue. It's a win-win for everyone - you'll get a fantastic walk with great people, your pup will have a blast, and rescue animals will receive much-needed support.
Ruff Start Rescue is dedicated to saving the lives of animals in need. Ruff Start Rescue improves animal welfare in communities through adoption, education, and providing resources for people and pets. Since 2010, Ruff Start Rescue has saved the lives of more than 29,000 animals! With hundreds of animals in rescue at any given time, Ruff Start Rescue needs your help to continue its life-saving mission.
WHEN: Sunday, May 18th

PARKING:
Please park in the lots near Pavilions 2 and 3. There is a parking fee of $7 per vehicle (card or cash payments only) unless you have a park pass. Carpooling is encouraged. Anoka County Parks parking details can be found here.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
10 am- Registration and activities
11 am- Program, with walk to follow (route is just over a mile). Join us back at the pavilion for continued fun activities for all after the walk.
REGISTER AND DONATE:
Create or join a team, register yourself as a participant, and begin fundraising through the Tails and Trails website! Adult tickets are $30 and include: general admission, Tails and Trails tote bag filled with goodies, and refreshments at the event! Kids are free. View our fundraising page for information and graphics about the event and setting up your fundraising page. *The top fundraiser receives the honor of naming a future Ruff Start Rescue litter of puppies or kittens!* Not able to attend? You can still register and fundraise to support animals in rescue.
PET POLICY
Non-reactive, vaccinated dogs are welcome but must be on a leash at all times.
Retractable leashes are prohibited. Owners are responsible for waste pick-up. Dogs are not allowed under the pavilions.
