The Big Payback: A People's Assembly on Reparations
Saturday, May 30, 2026, 1100 - 1500
For a lot of us, healing has to include reparations, for those in power to make amends for the centuries of harm committed against Black people in this country. Join Equity and Transformation (EAT) and Movement for Black Lives for the Big Payback People's Assembly to find out what's possible TOGETHER. We deserve a city that invests in us, and we have the power to build it! We want to hear from you about what does healing mean for Chicagoans? What would reparations look like in our communities? Chicago residents of all ages are invited to attend, share their voices, and be in community with one another. Food and childcare will be provided. Register at peoplespower.info
