The GOoDS 5th Annual Grand Hunt Returns March 28, 2026

Treasure hunters, explorers, and real-world questers, get ready to hit the streets! The Grand Order of Divine Sweets (The GOoDS), Toronto's premiere custom bakery with a geeky twist, is celebrating the 5th anniversary of its legendary city-wide treasure hunt with its biggest adventure yet. This year's Grand Hunt drops over $5000 in cash and prizes across Toronto, including a $1000 Grand Prize Smash Egg and a full lineup of handcrafted cash-filled chocolate eggs guaranteeing a cash reward from $100 to $1000. Two of those high-value eggs come courtesy of Digital Extremes, creators of the hit video game, Warframe and the highly anticipated, Soulframe, who are powering up the Hunt with two $500 Smash Eggs.

A City-Wide Quest Begins at 10am
Starting at 10am on Saturday, March 28th, ten miniature treasure chests will be hidden throughout Toronto tucked into nooks, landmarks, and unexpected corners just waiting to be discovered. Each chest contains a scroll revealing the prize inside, and the only way to track them down is to follow the trail of clues dropped throughout the day on @thegoodsweetsto Instagram and Facebook stories. Hunters aged 18+ are encouraged to stay sharp, move fast, and think like seasoned geocachers as they navigate the city.

The Biggest Prize Pool in Grand Hunt History
In honour of the 5-year milestone, this year's prize pool is stacked with the most rewards ever offered, including:

Grand Prize: A giant sculpted chocolate Smash Egg filled with sweet delights and $1000 cash
Two $500 Smash Eggs sponsored by Digital Extremes
Toronto Blue Jays tickets
Super Mario Bros 2 movie swag
Storm Crow Manor swag
Royal Ontario Museum tickets
Ripley's Aquarium tickets
FAN EXPO Canada tickets
A signed, framed vintage print of Bag End from The Lord of the Rings courtesy of Upcycled Vintage Art, and more surprises waiting to be uncovered
Claiming the Loot

Once a treasure chest is found, the lucky hunter must bring the scroll to The Grand Order of Divine Sweets Café, located at 1162 Queen St W, Toronto (open 10am–7pm), to claim their prize and crack open their chocolate bounty.
