The Global Stakes of the Ukraine War with Journalist Vitaly Portnikov

Drawing on decades of reporting and firsthand perspective, Portnikov will explore how the conflict is reshaping international politics, security, democracy, and the balance of power, while offering insight into what's at stake not only for Ukraine, but for the world.
This is a rare opportunity to gain first-hand information and authoritative insight from one of Ukraine's most respected voices.
In a crowded news cycle of competing headlines-from immigration crackdown in the U.S. to geopolitical shifts around the World -it can be difficult to see the underlying connections. Mr. Portnikov offers a vantage point shaped by decades of high-level expertise on the European continent, helping to bridge the gap between these seemingly separate global developments.
Joining Mr. Portnikov in conversation will be Peter Bejger, San Francisco based writer and filmmaker, and David Bogachik, Executive Director of Ukrainian Service and Cultrual Center serving refugee community in the Bay Area.
