The Natural State Housing Summit 2026

The Natural State Housing Summit, hosted by Groundwork Arkansas, is a statewide convening in Little Rock bringing together legislators, municipal leaders, housing practitioners, and key stakeholders to align around Arkansas's most pressing housing challenges and advance actionable policy solutions. The summit will feature expert voices from across the country who will provide regional and national on housing production strategies, regulatory reform, and proven policy models.

Through structured sessions and facilitated dialogue, the summit will elevate solutions that are working in other states, preview legislative priorities ahead of the 2027 Arkansas session, and strengthen the cross-sector coalition needed to move housing production forward at scale.

Groundwork Arkansas is working to provide strategic regional leadership, expertise and resources to strengthen communities for working families near employment, commercial and cultural centers in Arkansas. Through education and advocacy, Groundwork will elevate the importance of housing affordability and growth in Arkansas and support policies, programs and initiatives that build public will and increase the supply of well-designed housing options in mixed-income neighborhoods for the region's workers and their families. This includes advocating for model housing policies that remove barriers and offering incentives for workforce housing development.
