Tisseront Orthodontics 16th Annual Halloween Candy Buy Back

Tisseront Orthodontics is proud to announce its 16th Annual Halloween Candy Buy-Back Event benefiting Children's National Hospital in D.C. and our troops overseas.
On Monday, November 6th, 2023, Dr. Stephan Tisseront and his team will be collecting leftover Halloween candy in Reston, VA. For every pound of candy collected Tisseront Orthodontics will donate $1 to Children's National and give $1 to the child/family donating the candy. Many families choose to donate to Children's National as well.
Through the years Tisseront Orthodontics has collected over 15,000 pounds of candy and has donated over $25,000 to Children's National Hospital in D.C. All candy that is collected at the event is packaged up with letters from the community and shipped to the US Armed Forces overseas.
After receiving last year's package, LtCol Todd "King" Arthur says, "I just wanted to say thank you so much for your very thoughtful gift. I am enjoying some delicious sweet tarts right now in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia because you were kind enough to send them to me. My unit flies the E-11 BACN (Battlefield Airborne Communication Node) and we were the surprised recipients of the holiday care packages you donated Halloween candy to. I have an 8 year old son named Ryker and he is wearing braces right now.....something I am sure you can relate to. I won't get to see my wife or son this Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years and your thoughtful gift makes this time of year a little sweeter than it would have otherwise been. Happy Holidays and thank you for remembering us."

The Tisseront Orthodontics 16th Annual Halloween Candy Buy-Back Event will be held, rain or shine, Monday, November 6th from 1:00-5:00 P.M. at Plaza America in Reston, VA. There will also be warm apple cider, raffle prizes, and the opportunity to write letters to the troops!
